About Us
Back in 1967, a little 5 year old freckle faced boy moved from his hometown of Dublin, Ireland to Hamilton. Times were tough but that boy always dreamed large! Spending the next 23 years of his life in the "East End", he worked at D'Joint and Luvlees, quickly realizing his dream... to own a Pub! In 1989, Stooges came to life in Stoney Creek. For 5 years he worked tirelessly to become a fixture in the community. With that lease ending, he had his sights set on the very location where we are now. And with that, Chuggy's was born. Now married, with a wife and 2 young daughters at home, he knew success was the only option! Decades later, because of each and every one of our valued customers, Chuggy's remains a part of the community! Rob, (yes ...that freckle faced boy), Shelly and family appreciate your business.
